This amiable little production is modestly acted with a simple set design, and tells of a comical state of affairs.

Every Ash Wednesday Russell eats all his pancakes and drinks him self silly, as tradition calls for it. This year is very special as he wants his best friend and new found love to do it with him. Little does he know that Rebecca and Miles have met before!

Miles is ridden with guilt and lust and can't tell Russell of his mistake. Where as Rebecca enjoys toying with him and openly teasing him sexually while Russell remains oblivious to it.

Some of the awkward situations could be played with more exaggeration and the scene changes could be cut. Otherwise it's very entertaining and makes one realise the oddest of situations could in fact happen to anyone.
