Fierce

'Fierce' by Edinburgh Theatre Company 'Grid Iron', written by Justin Young and co-directed by Janie Abbot is a high energy, high-impact, speedy, in your face production. Not for those of you who find the young, rebellious, F*** You! types offensive!

Set in a council estate, Wee Babz, Tommy Mullins, aspires to be in the PMT (Pure Mental Team) Finlay, Mark Arends, only wants to be accepted, and left untouched. Geri, Catherine Whitfield, with her excellent timing and even better voice is holding out for Brad Pitt, Edie, Helen McAlpine, wants love and for people to see past the 'goth' and Annie, Cora Bissett, (another talented scottish actress to be seen) sings some momentous songs and is moving in her performance as Finlays mother. The 'Gang' wants to take over the streets, make their mark, and shout from the rooftops of how they can't be 'controlled'

This show is modern representation of youth culture today, and gives you a glimpse into the world of spray painting. Its musical style which involves anything from rapping to opera is refreshingly different giving you the message loud and clear. Go see!
